The vision of the WRHM2CA-PR206 is to establish a water radioactivity and heavy metals monitoring system using robust laboratory equipment and automated sensors adapted to the participating countries, through the development of a standard operating manual and a unified quality management system, which will improve data collection, storage, reliability of analysis and interoperability. This will use SAVE, a cyber-secure decision support tool developed by ISTC TechTeam and implemented in each partner country for daily operations and rapid data sharing during catastrophic events (e.g. floods, water pollution, earthquakes) and potential cascading effects.
